The Cozy Spaces is a place for ideas that make a home feel warmer and easier to live in. We write practical guides on arranging rooms, choosing furniture and softening a space with light, texture and color, for real homes rather than show homes.

Who runs The Cozy Spaces

The Cozy Spaces is an independent interior-design inspiration website, run by its founder. Articles are published under the name The Cozy Spaces Editorial Team. That's the name for our editorial process, not for a team of named interior-design professionals.

We create design inspiration and practical furniture guides to help you explore styles, materials and products for your home. We use AI tools to help with research and drafting, and we review and edit articles before they're published. Many of our images are AI-generated illustrations of design ideas, not photos of real homes. We don't claim professional interior-design qualifications.

Our editorial policy explains how we research, check facts, use AI images, recommend products and correct mistakes.

What you'll find here

Our Journal covers layouts, measurements and styling for living rooms and the rest of the house. We try to give numbers you can use, like walkway widths and spacing, and ideas that work in small, awkward and open-plan rooms, not just large ones.

How we choose products

When we suggest a product, it's because it suits the room or style we're writing about. We look at size, materials and how a piece is likely to hold up in everyday use, based on the manufacturer's specifications and other published information. Unless an article says otherwise, we haven't tested the product ourselves. We don't sell anything ourselves; product links take you to the retailer, who handles price, delivery and returns.

How we're funded

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps keep the site running, and it doesn't decide which products we include. Articles with affiliate links say so before the first link. Read our affiliate disclosure for details.
